CROSSING GUARDS 

Franklin Borough is accepting applications for Substitute Crossing Guards, starting at $12.76 per hour.  Applications available at the Franklin Municipal Building, Clerk’s Office, 46 Main Street, Franklin, NJ, 07416.  Deadline for submission of application is Friday, April 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM.  EOE
 

CLEAN COMMUNITIES PROGRAM SUMMER EMPLOYMENT

The Borough of Franklin will again be accepting applications for part-time summer employment with the Department of Public Works.  “The Clean Communities Program” provides funding for this program.  Positions run for eight weeks with a total of 20 hours per week.  Applications can be obtained at the Municipal Building or online at www.franklinboro.com.  Applications must be returned by April 30, 2008.  Applicants must be 15 to 17 years old and working papers are required.

RECREATION COMMISSION

Franklin Borough Recreation Commission is accepting applications for a volunteer member for the term beginning in January 2008.  Members are required to attend one meeting per month and participate in recreation events throughout the year.  Complete the volunteer application below and return to the municipal building if interested.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEMBERS NEEDED

The Borough of Franklin is looking for two volunteers to serve on the Economic Development Committee approximately nine evenings per year.  EDC welcomes and assists businesses in within the community.  Complete and mail volunteer board member application to the above address if interested.

CDRC VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Community Dispute Resolution Committee is looking for volunteers to mediate neighborhood disputes prior to court appearance .  Meetings are approximately once a month and extensive training is provided.  For more information please contact the Franklin Municipal Court at 973-827-9280X107.
